Introductory course held annually at Green Point Observatory,
Runs over 8 consecutive Wednesday evenings.
Each Wednesday evening starts at 7:00 pm and continues for approximately 2 and a half hours.
For all members of the public from Year 10 (High School) to retirement interested in astronomy. Activity-based practicals. Immersive Astronomy experience. Using modern educational technologies (website, software, animations, movies, glossary). No telescopes required. Certificate on completion.

Wed 25 Sep New Developments in Astronomy & Space, Basic concepts for beginners in Astro-Photography)
Recommended: Additional Saturday evenings dark-sky observing during the course, with mentor volunteers.
